7:53am after hiking about 2 hours from the trail head - first views of our peak! what a beautiful day.. on any other friday i prob would still be in a deep zzzz right now, ha

8:47am breather and breakfast by ingalls lake(?) before starting the steeper scramble up to the first climbing pitch..

10:54am the climbing begins! we have 3 pitches to climb to reach the summit.. notice the guy with red helment at the end of the rope.. he's one of the rope leads and will belay the next climber from that ledge on the rock face

11am chill'in while we wait for our turn to climb...

12:44pm wahooo... this is it.. the summit! awesome views all round from the top of the world.. that lake at the bottom center is the same lake as the one in the earlier picture

12:44pm she's literally sitting on the summit... preparing to downclimb actually. mighty mt rainier in the horizon. hmmmmm.. what's that silverish blob in the sky?!!! just noticed it... gosh.. a bird probably. or plane.. UFO?

12:45pm downclimbing from the summit.. notice there's no rope protection.. such scrambles over rock are pretty nerve-wracking. altho i've seen the pros scuttle effortlessly over such rock like spidermen..

12:47pm "climbing mt. stewart starts from over there..."

1:26pm takin a lil' nap on the top of the world

1:33pm later we will rappel down the mountain from where those folks are standing.. notice mt. rainier in the background..

1:38pm the summit is that rock slab where the 2 people are standing

2:13pm after bumming around the summit for abit, we start rappelling down the mountain... it takes a couple moments u convince yourself it's fine to step backwards over the edge onto a steep drop and trust dear life on a single hand's grip on the rope..

2:41pm view of the rappel from below

2:50pm ... and from the top
