4/1/01 road to bayahibe from boca chica, south went to checkout downtown santo domingo after spending the night at boca chica (pretty sketchy at night). stumbled upon this crafts shop along the drive to bayahibe

4/2/01 bayahibe, southeast breakfast at casa daniel before day of diving/snorkelling with scubafun. between dives we hungout and lunched at saona island, which has the prettiest beach!

4/2/01 bayahibe, southeast checking out the dominican sunset after dives. had yummy, crazy cheap seafood dinner later at the village restaurant. seafood in dr is the best!

4/3/01 dominican alps (cordillera central). scenic views along the drive to the highland town of jarabacoa

4/4/01 rancho baiguate, jarabacoa. breakfast at rancho baiguate - an adventure resort in the dominican alps. kickass place, we pretty much had the whole resort to ourselves

4/4/01 jimenoa falls, dominican alps. we went canyoning, basically meant alot of controlled falling.. thats yours truly falling down a cliff. there was also a waterfall on my right. our crazy guide earlier rappelled-ran headfirst down this cliff to setup the ropes for us!

4/4/01 rancho baiguate, jarabacoa. back after canyoning. our guides were so cool, so crazy we had to take a picture with them.

4/5/01 sosua, north. drove down the dominican alps into sosua/cabarete on the north coast. roaming the alleyways before our dives..

4/5/01 sosua, north. getting equipment ready before dives. we were with the dolphin dive center. i remember getting bit by fish that day for holding bread crumbs underwater..
